It's a good idea, with the 9MM being a nice balance of power and recoil between .38 SPL and .357 Magnum.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I got into the whole 9mm revolver thing decades ago.  My first one was a Ruger Speed-six.  Seemed like a good idea at the time.
