GMTA--I always wondered if that was true as well! With the bad rap the M16 took in Vietnam, I can only think that he was unhappy with how it had been "modified" by others. Harvey

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think Stoner must have been an unhappy "father" of the rifle after the US Army and Colt took over the program. GMTA--I always wondered if that was true as well!
