For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No, I don't. It's one of dozens of guns I sold last year. That reminds me of the shooting we did on your club range. Highly enjoyable. I remember one particular group we shot at 100 meters from the bench. You shot a very respectable 3-shot group, well under an inch. Then, to my surprise, you handed the rifle to me to take the last two shots, both of which turned out to be within your group. And that was a load I picked out of a manual, not worked up for that rifle. Bullberry would make a barrel in any one of dozens of calibers. I chose the 6mmBR Rem because I wanted a really accurate rifle. I bought that rifle because I wanted it, not needed it. I wanted a highly accurate rifle, which I didn't have then, although my Savage 110 left hand in .264M (bought in 1965 and not fired after 1967) would shoot 1MOA with 100, 120 and 140gr Sierra bullets.) I was hoping to use the Bulberry on woodchucks, but never did. After I bought it I realized I found I was bored shooting groups from the bench. |
