I've found the same thing to be true that Mark mentioned. I saw it while shooting .38 Specials in .357 Magnum revolvers and shooting the much more pleasant .44 Specials in .44 Magnum revolvers. I don't own any .44 Magnum revolvers anymore but I do have separate .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolvers. I'm now set up to load .357 Magnum brass to .38 Special specs to make things easier on myself. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have never understood why anybody would buy a 44 Special when a 44 Magnum will fire the special ammo?????
